Step 8 · Test Dryer Operation

Once the dryer is fully reassembled, reconnect the power supply. For electric dryers, plug it back into the outlet. For gas dryers, ensure the gas supply is turned back on and then plug in the unit. For hardwired units, turn the circuit breaker back on. Run the dryer through a complete cycle or a timed dry cycle to check if it heats properly, tumbles smoothly, and operates without unusual noises or error codes. Monitor for any signs of malfunction.
