Step 2 · Disconnect the Old Faucet's Water Supply Lines

This is the step people usually slow down on. Go finger-tight first, then a quarter turn. No rush — replay the clip whenever it helps.

Carefully disconnect the water supply lines from the old faucet using an adjustable wrench. Place a bucket underneath to catch any remaining water. Remember to note which line is hot and which is cold for easier reconnection later.
