Step 4 · Install the New Flapper

Align the ears or tabs of the new flapper with the posts on the overflow tube and press them into place. Ensure the flapper sits flat against the opening of the flush valve. Reconnect the chain to the flush lever, ensuring it has a slight amount of slack.
