To gain full internal access, the dryer's front panel must be opened. Insert a putty knife into the small gaps on the sides of the dryer's top panel, near the front. Press down on the clips on each side to release the top. This allows the entire top of the dryer to hinge backward, exposing the drum. The front panel, or bulkhead, is held in place by screws at the very bottom corners and by small metal catches on the bottom edge of the metal housing. Carefully remove the screws and unclip the moisture sensor harness located in the lower right corner before fully removing the front door by rolling it forward and up.
