Step 7 · Connect Inlet and Outlet Piping

Ensure a watertight connection between the septic tank outlet and the first section of the drainfield pipe or distribution box. Similarly, connect the plumbing from the residence to the septic tank inlet. Use appropriate fittings and sealants to prevent leaks and infiltration.
