Carefully lower the septic tank into the excavated pit. Ensure the tank is set on a stable, level base (often compacted gravel or sand). Connect inlet and outlet pipes according to the design, ensuring watertight seals. Backfill around the tank once it is properly positioned and connected, compacting the soil in layers.
