Step 9 · Final Inspection and System Startup

Once construction is complete, contact the local health department or building inspector to schedule a final inspection. The inspector will verify that the system was installed according to the approved plans and local codes. After passing inspection, the system can be put into service. Avoid heavy loads or landscaping directly over the drainfield.
