Step 8 · Clean the Sprayer

Flush the intake tube and spray gun with the appropriate cleaning solvent (water for latex paints, mineral spirits for oil-based paints). Run the solvent through the sprayer until it dispenses clear. Disassemble the spray gun and clean all parts meticulously with a brush and solvent. Reassemble the sprayer once all components are clean and dry.
